 Bluetooth covers everything from audio for wireless headphones and speakers, pairing game controllers and keyboards and transferring files through air. Bluetooth was created in 1994 and was first  designed to replace RS-232 telecommunication cables. The first bluetooth mobile phone was created in 2000 and  wasn't  available to people  until 2001. Now, the most common use of Bluetooth is in audio.   Bluetooth has evolved from a wireless replacement for old RS-232 cables to a fully fledged, far-reaching standard in its own. It caters to everything from file sharing and device pairing, to wireless music and accessories. Bluetooth will only continue to   improve data capacity, wider bandwidth, longer transmission range, reduced interference with other wireless services, better Internet security and connectivity, and mesh networking.  

 Performance Art is a way to show your emotions through a piece of art.  It is a way of communicating different thoughts and feelings to the other people in the society. You  don't have to like it but you should respect it. In performance art, the message is often presented by the performers, which is the art. This type of art is usually trying to tell a story or experience by showing us a reality of it. It adds new forms of art and music constantly and is still widely used today. 

 For my Performance Art piece, Im going to make a video that represents my very interesting background and challenges that are faced with being multiethnic. . I was born in Munich, Germany, I have German and Dominican parents. I want to somehow incorporate my background into this video showing my transition from living in Germany, to moving to the US and having to adjust to a whole new lifestyle and learn a new language. I want my project to show the transition of myself from then to now. To do this, I want to find pictures of myself that show my childhood compared to who I am now and videos that can help others understand more. Howard Goodall's episode of Big Bang examines the breakthroughs that European music has experienced throughout history. This 3rd episode of his series  investigates the intersection of political power and sung drama from Monteverdi's L'Orfeo to John Adams's Nixon in China. Goodall  did  a  fantastic  job presenting controversial and  complicated developments in western music. MonteVerdi's innovation to the music world heavily helped Opera become a universal appeal. This video shows how Opera has reached different areas of the world and has grown to become part of the real world. Its very fascinating to see how Opera has spread throughout time and has been performed in so many different ways by different cultures. 

 Ive never been a big fan of musicals, but most of the artists mentioned in this blog, are artists who my parents played throughout my childhood. For example, Barbara Streisand used to be one of my mothers favorites, I think she has a very unique voice and a lot of talent. Michael Bublé is also a very talented singer, he's someone I look forward to listen to every year around Christmas. His song, Have Yourself a Merry Christmas, is one of my Christmas favorites. He is a very talented jazz musician/singer and has an amazing tone in his voice that makes his songs so unique. The West Coast Cast of HAIR- "Smother Brothers" show immediately caught eye because it almost reminded me of Native American Blanket Dance.
